First round win for Coylton bowler John at Nationals

Coylton's John Candlish is through to the second round of the Scottish National championships at Northfield
John Candlish from Coylton Bowling Club has made it through to the last 16 of the Scottish Bowling Championships at Northfield in Ayr.
He won through his first round tie against Alistair McLelland of West Netherton on Wednesday 28th July, and will now face Peter Brown from Crail in the second round.
The second round match will be played on Friday 29th July at 11.30am on rink six of green A at Northfield.
And another Coylton bowler enters the championships on Wednesday afternoon, as Craig Cobbledick plays his first round tie in the junior singles against Matthew Norrie of Brora at 3.30pm on rink five of green D at Northfield.
